WE ARE A SUCCESSFUL AND POPULAR CLUB, WELCOMING AND INCLUSIVE WITH A STRONG BOWLING TRADITION
Our final match – the customary Ladies v Gents game – was held on Sunday 27th September.
Despite a poor forecast, the weather was kind to us and we had a hard fought competition in a friendly and lively atmosphere.
As befits the occasion, many of our players wore fancy dress, and we had dinosaurs, pirates, Super Mario and even Fred Flintstone paid us a visit!!
As always, the result was in dispute, but two rinks were awarded to the Ladies and two to the Gents so the honours were equal.
