2024 – Congratulations to our club team – We won the Rose Bowl!
This ‘local derby’ – between ourselves and our Brixham rivals up at Furzham – has been fought every year since 1977!
This year it was our turn.
Our Charity Day Pairs match was held on Sunday 18th August. The weather was bright and sunny and a good time was had by all.
12 pairs each played three 40 minute games during the afternoon.
There was a grand raffle and various other games and competitions to swell the funds. The day raised £605 for this year’s charity – Brixham Does Care. Our president is pictured presenting the cheque.
Well done to all concerned!
HAWAII 2024
The last match of the season on Saturday 28th September was our annual Ladies v Gents match.
Our bowlers and the clubhouse were dressed in a Hawaii theme. A great time was had by all.
The result – subject to appeal by some – was Ladies 93 – Gents 92!
Throughout the season we have entertained touring clubs for friendly (and not too serious) matches – here is a selection
Clearly a good time was had by all!!
